EPK Microsite Design + Development

When leading satellite tv provider DIRECTV introduced their first original programming series “Rogue”, starring Thandie Newton, we developed an electronic press kit to stir buzz about the upcoming crime drama. Our design objective was to visually imitate the dark and skeuomorphic aesthetic to create a fictional world for Rogue. We reflected the show’s dramatic tone using wood, Polaroid, paperclip and manila folder design elements. The microsite gives users an interactive experience on both desktop and mobile devices, and includes a custom content management system. The online platform’s eerie, yet photographic ambience earned a 2013 Silver Communicator Award.
